The U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC) located in San Antonio, TX, has an immediate post-graduate software development opportunity. If selected, participants, under the guidance of a mentor, will improve, automate, and centralize valuable Command information tools on an existing SharePoint site.

Applicant Requirements

Citizenship: U.S. Citizen Only

Degree: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctoral Degree received within the last 60 months or

currently pursuing.

Veteran Status: Veterans Preference, degree received within the last 60 month(s).

If you are familiar with web based technologies and love solving problems this is an excellent opportunity for you!  You will learn requirements gathering, platform improvement, and divergent thinking techniques to improve USAEC process flows. Candidates will also learn a variety of technologies to include, but not limited to, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Google Drive, WordPress, and SharePoint.

This is a 12 month research appointment with the option to be renewed pending additional terms. Appointments may be extended depending on funding availability, project assignment, program rules, and availability of the participant.
